MVN-MX260 Media Gateway
Magenta’s bi-directional ASI and IP video gateway allows for simple IP or ASI format conversion for  up to 6 precompressed Transport Streams. Features advanced buffer management, de-jittering algorithms and IP flow control.

MVN-MX261 Media Filter
Magenta’s MVN-MX261 Transport Stream Filter  provides the same functionality as the MVN-260 with the additional benefit of PID and service level filtering. This is an excellent choice for operators that frequently turn around or repurpose services  and need to save bandwidth or remove unnecessary services before retransmission. 

MVN-MX262 Media Streamer
Magenta’s MVN-MX262 Media splitter provides all the functionality required to groom off air services and generate single program transport streams (SPTS). This is typically used for cost effective delivery of IPTV services over networks that are not bandwidth constrained.

MVN-MX263 Media Multiplexer
Magenta’s MVN-MX263 multiplexer is enhanced with the ability to multiplex from any input interface to form up to 6 separate multi-program transport streams (MPTS) simultaneously. This provide operators and service providers a low cost solution for regional adaptation or MPTS transport stream generation.

About OpenGear™
OpenGear™ is an open standard based platform that has been widely adopted by numerous broadcast equipment manufacturers. OpenGear™  uses a 2 rack unit frame that holds either 10 or 20 cards. Many manufacturers develop openGear™  cards and frames that can be mixed and matched. This gives the freedom to build your facility without being locked into a proprietary rack standard or specific vendors solution. Whatever unique or custom needs you have, there will most likely be an openGear™ partner that makes it. All openGear™ cards are hot swappable and can be controlled from the same DashBoard network control and monitoring software.

Dashboard™ automatically discovers new modules and installs the cards functions without any complicated driver loading. Because DashBoard™ is TCP/IP network based, installations consisting of openGear™ card, racks, and frames can be centrally  monitored and controlled.
