Magenta Video Networks, a leading video network solutions provider for advanced MPEG-4 compression and IP based video processing technology, will be exhibiting at NAB 2010 in Las Vegas.

 

During NAB, Magenta will be demonstrating the innovative Mediastorm video processor and a new advanced video compression solution. Based on a fault tolerant and open architecture platform, Magenta will be demonstrating a range of products enabling video to be seamlessly distributed over ASI or IP networks.

 

Magenta’s unique Mediastorm video processing architecture, allows operators and service providers to make significant opex savings by deploying ‘green’ low power solutions. These solutions enable operators and service providers to reduce their power consumption by up to 85% compared to other equivalent broadcast solutions.

 

All of Magenta’s products are available in a high reliability chassis with hot swappable cards and dual Power supplies. With a startup and streaming time of less than 20 seconds, Magenta’s products are setting the standard for other vendors to follow.
